Each year, Michigan DECA depends upon support from our community members to assist us by serving as competitive event judges to help evaluate marketing and customer relations skills of our students that will be competing at our conferences. 


During the competition, the high school students will apply their knowledge of entrepreneurship, marketing, merchandising and management in practical real world situations. 


The specific details of the event you will be judging will be explained to you at the judges’ orientation, which held just prior to the actual competition.


Judges must be able to stay for the entire time period they have selected, in order to keep the evaluation consistent.

Thank you to the judges that supported us during the District Conferences in December and January!

State Conference

February 28 – March 6, 2024 – online written event evaluations – judge the written papers from the comfort of your home computer

Thursday, March 14, 2024 – at Huntington Place from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Friday, March 15, 2024 – at Huntington Place from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Friday, March 15, 2024 – at Huntington Place from Noon to 6:00 p.m.
