Each year, Michigan DECA depends upon support from our community members to assist us by serving as competitive event judges to help evaluate marketing and customer relations skills of our students that will be competing in the District and State Conferences. During the competition, the high school students will apply their knowledge of entrepreneurship, marketing, merchandising and management in practical real world situations. The specific details of the event you will be judging will be explained to you at the judges’ orientation, which held just prior to the actual competition.
Judging at the State Conference
All judging will take place at Cobo Center, 1 Washington Blvd, Detroit, Michigan 48226
Judges must be able to stay for the entire time period they have selected, in order to keep the evaluation consistent.
Judges are needed:
- Friday, March 11, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Saturday, March 12, 2016 from Noon to 5:00 p.m.
