Michigan DECA’s District Council

Michigan DECA’s District Council was established as a way for members from each chapter to communicate with the State Executive Council to stay up to date with Michigan DECA’s initiatives throughout the year. The goal is for each school to have two representatives as members of District Council. If a chapter already has an established board or Executive Council, it is suggested that those individuals be Council members since they are already in leadership positions at their chapter and can inform other members of the information they receive. District Council members will receive a monthly updates summarizing upcoming Michigan DECA activities and will be invited to Michigan DECA’s Hangouts. This is a very exciting opportunity for students to be directly engaged with Michigan DECA between conferences, and another highly regarded title you can add to members’ resumes and college applications!
