District 8 Conference

Michigan DECA has made changes to the district borders, and as a result several chapters have moved into new districts. Please check the Chapter List to see if your district has changed.

Registration forms are due November 21, 2011.

Judges – Each chapter is responsible to provide at least one (1) judge for every ten (10) students registered for the conference. Schools that do not provide their quota of Judges will not be able to participate at the conference! Judges need to arrive by 9:00am and report to the Media Center.  Judge names must be included on your registration form.

Registration fees are $25.00 for students and adults. Please note, your chapter may charge more for registration to help cover transportation and other costs. Please check with your DECA Advisor.

Lunch is included in your registration fee. The school store will also be open.

The Awards Session will have assigned seating in the auditorium. Schools will be assigned based on the number of Judges registered as a percentage of the size of your chapter.

9:00 am – Opening Session
Lunch after your competition
1:00 pm – Awards Session (please feel free to invite school administrators and parents!)
